Numbers 14:8-10

^8 (A)If Yahweh is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us—^(B)a land which flows with milk and honey. ⁹ But as for you, only ^(C)do not rebel against Yahweh; and do not ^(D)fear the people of the land, for they are our ^[a]bread. Their ^[b]protection has been removed from them, and Yahweh is with us; do not fear them.” ^10 (E)But all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Then ^(F)the glory of Yahweh appeared in the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.
